Willard (Willie) Wesley Morris, 65, of Dover, DE, died Saturday September 27, 2015 at home. He was born August 11, 1950 in Townsend, the son of the late David James Morris and Ruth Catherine Cahall Morris. He was employed as a carpenter for many years. Willie will be remembered as someone who was always smiling and who could make anyone laugh. He was an excellent singer, and a great husband, father and grandfather. He would help anyone that needed it and he will be missed by many people. He was married on September 5, 2010 to M. Virginia Cole Morris who survives him. In addition, he is survived by his children, Michelle R. Davis, Jennifer Phillips and her husband Kyle, and Tiffany Cooney; his grandchildren; five sisters; a brother, James Morris; and his pets, Nicky, Jesse, and Brutus (dogs). Memorial Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday October 2 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna. Interment will be private.
