Vernon James Ennis, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at his home. He was 65.

He was born in Dover, the son of the late Harry T. Ennis Jr. and Betty Lou Charles.

Vernon earned two degrees at Wilmington College where he was employed for many years. He enjoyed reading and listening to various types of music.

He is survived by an aunt, Virginia Morris; uncles, Bruce C. Ennis and Robert T. Ennis, all of Smyrna; and many cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be privately held at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna, DE
