Vaccaro C. "Vicki" Blendt, of Smyrna, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 19, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She was 87. She was born on November 21, 1926. She was an avid gardener and producer of many varieties of roses, daises, and hyacinths. For over twenty years, she was a member of the Twentieth Century Club of Smyrna, where she served as vice president, monthly chairman, and was the hostess committee chair for international affairs. She also enjoyed helping out at the Smyrna-Clayton Food Pantry for many years. Vicki will be dearly missed by all, especially those who came to know and love her at Dewey Beach. She is survived by her son Bradford L. Blendt and wife Judith; grandchildren Jake, Jordan, and Jaclyn Sinex; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday February 1 at the First Presbyterian Church, 118 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 3:00 PM. Burial will be private.
