Thomas C. Cadmus Jr., 26, of Vero Beach, FL, and formerly of Smyrna, passed away Nov. 27, 2017 after a long illness.

Tommy attended school in the Smyrna School District and spent most of his life as a waterman (crabber) on the Delaware Bay. He was also a boilermaker for the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers.

He was very artistic in woodworking, airbrushing, tattoos, and welding. He loved being with his friends, eating steamed crabs, and living in Florida.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul R. Cadmus Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Levi Tharp and Virginia Fiore.

Thomas is survived by his parents, Thomas and Jerri Cadmus, of Smyrna; a brother, Robert; a sister, Amy; a niece, Ava; a nephew, Liam; and paternal grandparents Patsy and Donald Caron, of Smyrna.

Memorial services will be held 12 PM Tuesday December 19 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 11 AM. Interment will be in Townsend Cemetery, Townsend.
