Tammy Lynn Morris Carns, 48, of Dover, DE, passed away on Sunday October 22, 2023, at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, Dover, DE.

She was born in Dover on October 18,1975. Her childhood nicknames were Little Booger and Critter. Tammy graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1993 where she was a member of the band.

She graduated from Nursing school at Del Tech and Wilmington College for her BSN. She received the Daisy award honoring nurses who provide above-and-beyond compassionate care to patients and families. She was also nominated for Nurse of the year at Bayhealth.

Tammy enjoyed hanging out with her friends from high school and her family. She was always available to lend a hand and her time to anyone that needed it. She always had a smile on her face and loved life. She was an excellent nurse and truly loved her job and her work family. She was loved by everyone that met her and was known as "Everybody's Tam"

She is survived by, her husband, Edward William "Will" Carns; her parents, Edward Alan Morris, Terri Abrams Miller, and her step-dad Al Miller (Daddy Al); her brother, James Miller; and her dog Ash.

Services will be held 3 PM Saturday October 28 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, with a visitation beginning at 1 PM until the time of services. Pastor Peter Young will officiate.

Interment will be private.
