Obituary

Shawn R. Shane, 41, of Smyrna, DE, passed away on March 24, 2021 in Smyrna.

He was born in Wilmington, DE on October 7, 1979, the son of Frances A. Shane and the late Donald R. Robinson. He attended school in Smyrna and Middletown. Shawn was very crafty with his hands, and had been employed in the construction field. He had lived at various times all over Delaware, Ft. Myers, Florida, Pownal, Maine, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He was a huge New Orleans Saints football fan, loved watching NASCAR, playing poker, hunting, shooting bow and arrows, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, playing darts, shooting pool, landscaping, and making unique homemade gifts for family and friends. Most of all, he loved just hanging out with family and friends.

He is survived by his spouse (separated) Shauna E. Shane; a daughter, Zoe Carson; a son, Shawn M. Shane; a granddaughter, Elyse; his mother, Fran Shane; a sister, Stacy Shane; a brother, Joshua Roscoe; two nieces, Blakely Roscoe and Brynnly Williams; a nephew, Kaden Sassi; his friends, Joey Daniels, Mike Czetli, and Willis Miller; and his dog Oden.

He was predeceased by his father, Donald R. Robinson.

Services and interment were private, but a Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
