On the morning of October 18, 2015, Shannon Leone (nee: Dunmire) passed away at Wilmington Hospital/Christiana Care in Wilmington, DE. Shannon was born in Philadelphia, PA and at a young age moved to the Haddon Township NJ area where she graduated from Haddonfield High School. She moved to Wilmington, DE where her and her husband, Bryan, established a loving home. Shannon had a passion for football, in particular, watching Penn State and Eagles football games. Her enthusiasm for her favorite teams could be heard throughout the neighborhood. If there was an Eagle or Penn State game on, it was a certainty that Shannon was watching it! Shannon leaves behind her husband, Bryan, who will cherish the wonderful memories of their five years of marriage. Shannon is also survived by her mother, Patricia Dunmire; her brothers, Rob and Dan; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Bernadette and Michael Baker; sister-in-law: Danielle Speiser (Mark); numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins; and her life long friend Shannon Reed Humes. Preceding Shannon's arrival into heaven is her father, Robert Dunmire. Visitation for Shannon will be held at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, DE on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Saint Polycarp Parish, Ransom Lane and South St., Smyrna, DE. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19808. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Bryan Leone, c/o Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W.
