Rylee J. Spahn (Ry Ry), 13, of Smyrna, DE passed away suddenly on Wednesday December 29, 2021.

She was born in Newark, DE on August 25, 2008. She was a student at Smyrna Middle School. Rylee enjoyed going to the beach, video games, skateboarding, riding bikes, making Tik-Tok videos, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her parents Joshua T. Spahn (Bonnie Foster) and Vanessa J. Dunlap; sisters, Lilly Spahn, Mikayla Spahn, Adelyn Hendrickson; and Savannah Spahn; her great-grandmother, Frances Malinowski (Grammy Franny), and great-grandparents, Matthew and Josette Giordano; grandparents, Clifton and Yvonne Russell, Thomas and Linda Spahn, and Susan Dunlap (Meme); aunts and uncles, Dwayne and Kristen Russell, Rebecca Russell, Alexis, Angela, and Greg Dunlap; and numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Tyler Spahn; her maternal grandfather, Michael Dunlap; and her aunt, Missy Russell.

Services will be held 12:30 PM Friday January 14 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Smyrna.
