Robyn L. Matzuras, age 56, of Dover, DE passed away at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford Delaware on April 9, 2021.

She was born February 2, 1965 in Bristol Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late George R. LaVana and Ellen L. Scheffey.

Robyn graduated from Claymont High School in Claymont, Delaware. She attended Delaware Technical and Community College and worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in Dover and Smyrna. She also worked as a store associate for Wawa in Middletown, Delaware and for Royal Farms in Hartly and Dover Delaware. She formerly resided in Claymont, Millsboro, Newark, Smyrna and Dover, DE.

Robyn enjoyed reading, gardening and just socializing with friends and family. She loved all animals, especially dogs. She was a loving mother and a devoted wife who had a heart of gold.

She is survived by her husband Michael J Matzuras; a daughter, Nicole L. Matzuras; her siblings, Jennine CoFrancisco of Claymont, DE, Paul LaVana of Emmaus, Pa, and Renee LaVana of Atmore, Alabama; six nieces and two nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, David LaVana, and a sister, Debra Nunn.

Services and interment will be private.
