Robert A. Nolte (Bob), 89, of Smyrna, DE, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 in Dover, DE.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 5, 1931, the son of the late Robert B. Nolte and Elizabeth Orlando.

He attended Philadelphia Textiles School and was employed in Pharmaceutical Sales for Henry B. Gilpin and Bergen Brunswick for many years before retiring.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and had been a member of the VFW and American Legion.

He enjoyed golf, poker, old-time movies, and was an avid reader. Bob had a super memory and loved his family and reminiscing.

He is survived by three children, Robert R. Nolte and Dena Chapin, Daniel A. Nolte and Pamela Synder, and Tanna Marie Nolte and Mark Newell; grandchildren, Nicholas A. Nolte, Zachary C. Nolte, Mallory A. Nolte, Morgan A. Nolte, Galen A. Newell, Connor M. Newell, and Spencer B. Newell; siblings, Patrick F. Nolte of VA, Margaret Nolte Crepeau of FL, and Richard T. Nolte of FL.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marie T. Nolte; and his siblings, Virginia M. Burke and George E. Nolte.

Memorial services will be privately held.
