Robert (Bob) Lewis Harrington, 97, of Smyrna, DE, passed away on April 21, 2025.

He was born in Warren, PA on April 1, 1928, to the late William D. and Josephine Marie Goss Harrington.

Bob worked as a diesel truck mechanic for many years and enjoyed dancing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He was an active member of Townsend Church. He was always the kind of person who liked to get friends together whether it was to have a picnic in the park, bowling, or other adventures.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Lewis Harrington and his wife, Susan.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his first wife of 54 years, Betty Jane Griffin Harrington; his second wife, Florence Burrows Harrington; two sisters Inas Faulkner and Lois Sokolowski; and his brother William Harrington.

Services will be held 11 AM Monday April 28, at Townsend Church, 4519 Dupont Pkwy, Townsend, DE 19734, where friends may call at 10 AM. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
