Richard L. Surber, a 14 year resident of DHCI, Smyrna, passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2016. He was 61.

Mr. Surber was born in Abingdon, VA. He lived for many years in Delaware City, DE, and was formerly employed as a machine operator. He had an active spiritual life.

He was well known and loved by the residents and staff at DHCI.

Memorial Services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday September 15 at the Pastoral Care Chapel of the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, 100 Sunnyside Rd., Smyrna. Interment will be private.
