Richard Glenn Seger, of Smyrna, formerly of Home, PA, passed at his residence on Saturday September 14, 2024. He was 87.

Known to his friends as "Dick" or "Dink", he was born in Rossiter, PA on May 24, 1937, to the late Samuel Lloyd Seger and Dorothy Almeda (Hawk) Seger.

He attended Taylorsville Elementary and Commodore High School and had worked at Greensteel Manufacturing and the Indiana (PA) Gazette newspapers for 40 years. He lived in Home, PA for many years before moving to Smyrna.

Dick enjoyed dancing, bowling, and doing yardwork and was of the Baptist faith. He attended the Easter Seals Day Program in Smyrna.

He is survived by his two sons, Curtis and wife Becky, of Commodore, PA, and Todd and wife Nancy of Smyrna, DE; three grandsons, Kyle, Nick, and Alex, all of PA.

He was predeceased by his wife, Gladys Jane Seger.

Services will be private at the request of the family.
