Richard Joseph Roder passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. He was 64 years old.

Born on November 29, 1960 in Perth Amboy, he was raised in Woodbridge, NJ and resided in Hewitt, NJ before moving to Dover, DE several years ago.

Ricky Roder was a 1979 graduate of Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School in Perth Amboy and has been employed as a sales representative with Drygear Solutions, Inc. in Swiftwater, PA for the past seven years.

He was predeceased by his father, Richard William Roder, in 1986.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Donnah Masker Roder; mother, Helen Roder, of Woodbridge; sister, Laura Rousos, of Woodbridge; and nephews, Angelo and Jason Rousos, of Woodbridge.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ. Funeral services will begin from the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. on Friday morning. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Thomas the Apostle Byzantine Catholic Church, Rahway, NJ. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, NJ.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Arbor Day Foundation (arborday.org) in Ricky's memory would be greatly appreciated by his loved ones.
