Richard Sebourn Murray, 75 years old of Smyrna, Delaware, passed away Wednesday February 2, 2022.

He was born September 30, 1947 in Wilmington Delaware. He was adopted by his loving parents Audrey and Gardner Young and grew up with 3 siblings. After graduating from Caesar Rodney High school, Richard enlisted in the U.S. Navy. There he served as a Radio/Radar Tech on the U.S.S. Dale during the Vietnam War. Following his tour in Vietnam, Richard continued his career in communications working for AT&T/Verizon where he retired after 30+ years of service.

He is survived by his two sons Richard and Todd, his beloved cat Blue, 2 sisters Kitty Malaski and Marilyn Young, and brother Barratt Young. Richard's love of Music and all things pop culture or nostalgia related led him into his lifetime hobby of collectables and memorabilia, a joy he shared with his sons and frequently hunting down the most recent toys and fads during the 80's and 90's as a pastime. Richard will always be loved and fondly remembered for his funny sneeze and his unique sense of humor. As per the deceased wishes there will be no public service.
