Ralph Emil Jacobi, 73, of Magnolia, DE, passed away on April 11, 2016.

He was born September 18, 1942 in Rahway, NJ, the son of the late Karl Jacobi and Evelyn Kugele Jacobi.

He earned a B A. from the Julliard School of Music.

He married Veronica Logue Knight on July 19, 1974. He was a longtime resident of Cranford NJ, where he owned Jacobi Saw and Cutter for many years. He retired to Magnolia DE in 2007.

He was a 50 Year Member AzureMasada Lodge, Cranford New Jersey and was named Secretary Emeritus in 2006. Ralph was also a member of the Knights Templar and a Past Right Worshipful Grand Deacon of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey.

He enjoyed supporting local Boy Scout troops while residing in NJ. In addition, he also enjoyed playing tennis and was a life-long enthusiast of classical music; an avid computer buff, and enjoyed spending time gardening. He will be remembered as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica Jacobi; a son, Kris Jacobi of Kenner, LA; and two grandchildren Harleigh and Kelsey MacBeth of Tinton Falls, NJ.

He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Victoria MacBeth; his Great Danes, Fawn and Fergie; and Killer the Cat.
