Peter V. Bonsignore, "Little Peter", age 25, of Smyrna, DE, died September 10, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.  Born on December 10, 1991 to Peter and Barbara Bonsignore in Yonkers NY, he is survived by a son, Kedar; his parents; his siblings Joseph, Anthony, and Dena; and his grandmother Patricia Bonsignore.  He is also survived by a large extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless amounts of friends.

Peter attended and graduated from Smyrna High School in 2010 where he was a member of the football, baseball, and basketball teams.  Peter was a bright young man and apart from his sports, he was a member of "Who's Who of America", "National Honor Society", and numerous other academic recognitions.  He was ranked both nationally and at the state level for his achievements in academics, sportsmanship, and other areas.

He loved his family and friends, and is considered more than just a brother to not only his siblings, but his cousins, who meant the world to him, as well as being an unconditional best friend.

Services will be held September 16th, 2017 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where a viewing will be held from 4-7:00 PM. A service will follow at immediately from 7 PM - 8 PM.  Interment will be private. Peter was an organ donor through Gift of life Donor program.
