Nikolaj "Nick" Greczkin, of Smyrna, passed away peacefully Monday March 3, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. He was 88. He was born in Russia, and emigrated to the U.S. in 1954 with his wife Ella and two children. He worked until his retirement as a fabricator at Leeds and Harris Manufacturing, both of Smyrna. One of his greatest pleasures was spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ella. He is survived by four children, Vera Krueger and her husband Wade; Angela Greczkin; Alexander Greczkin; and Christine Murabito and her husband Joe; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a niece Lidia Knouse. Private graveside services will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
