January 3, 1969 – July 14, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Michelle Lyn Collier, of Winter Garden Florida, announce that on July 14, 2022, after a long battle with breast cancer, Michelle was lifted heavenward to watch over all those she knows and loves.
Michelle was just 53 years of age.
Michelle was born on January 3, 1969, in Wilmington DE to Diane Harman (Ruff) and the late Richard Harman Sr. They would move to Smyrna De. where she would make lifelong friends, attend the local schools and graduate from Smyrna High School. On May 5, 1990, she would marry the love of her life Mark Collier and they would spend the next 32 years together, enjoying all the wonderful things life has to offer, until her passing.
Michelle went to College at Xavier University in New Orleans La. where she graduated with a Doctorate in Pharmacology. After 4 years of Mardi Gras and mud bugs, she would move back to Delaware where she worked as a pharmacist. After having 4 kids, 1 boy and 3 girls, they would move to Florida to be near her passion, Walt Disney World. Michelle worked as a home infusion pharmacist and at the local hospitals in Florida.
Walt Disney World was a passion of Michelle's, and she never missed an opportunity to go with her family and the numerous friends she made while living in Florida.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Mark Collier, 4 loving kids, Nicholas, Piper, Paige and Phoebe Collier, all of Winter Garden FL. She is also Survived by her mother Diane Harman of Smyrna, DE a brother Richard Harman Jr and his wife Laura Harman of North Carolina, her mother-in-law Joyce Collier of Smyrna DE, her best and dearest friend Gloria Henry of Smyrna De and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michelle will be deeply missed by all, but never forgotten.
A visitation will be held 11 AM – 12:30 PM Saturday July 23 at Smyrna Wesleyan Church, 433 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, with Funeral Services beginning at 12:30. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna. The family requests that casual and/or Disney-related clothing be worn by all in honor of Michelle.
