Mary Elizabeth (Liz, Mary Liz) Spicer, 75, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Middletown and Smyrna, passed away on August 2, 2025 at Ocean Grove Hospice, Millsboro, DE.

She was born in Dover, DE on September 5, 1949, the daughter of the late Ralph W. Bailey and Mayretta J. Bailey (Morris).

A graduate of Smyrna High school, Mary earned her Pharmacy Tech Certification and retired as a Pharmacy Tech at Walgreens. She was previously an Account Technician for State of Delaware Department of Corrections.

She enjoyed spending time with family - especially her grandchildren and loved the yearly trips with her siblings. She also loved reading, listening to music and watching movies.

She is survived by her children, Tina Bramble (Keith), and Lori Haas (Joseph); grandchildren, Adam, and Ari Bramble, Abby Bryce (Jimmy), Ashley Foley. Kiersten Garris (Seve), Zachary, Katelyn, and Taylor Haas; great-grandchildren, Colton and Aiden Layman; a sister, Belinda J. Kahoe; a brother Ralph Bryan Bailey (Laura); and her dog, Zoe.

She was predeceased by her husband, William T. "Tom" Spicer, and her dog, Peanut.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, with a visitation beginning at 11 AM. Pastor Jack Spicer will officiate.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
