Mark Andrew Weir, of Townsend, went home to be with the LORD on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. He was 40. Mark was born in Coatesville, PA, on July 5, 1971. He is survived by his mother, Barbara A. Faulkner and his step-father, James H. Faulkner Jr., of Townsend. Other survivors include his sister Kimberly E. Bright and husband Ron F. Bright Jr., of Hockessin; maternal grandmother Hazel L. Binkley, of Wilmington; Aunts, Gail Varady, of Newark, Helen Binkley, of Murfreesboro, TN, and Jean Binkley, of Wilmington; as well as several cousins, nephews, and a great-nephew. Even though Mark had suffered mental illness for most of his life, he had enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mark was an avid music lover. He loved animals, the outdoors, and especially enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Sissy and Peppy. He will be missed by his family and friends. Services will be held 11:00 Monday December 19 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
