Marion Elaine Davis Bradford, of Smyrna, passed away on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE. She was 81. She was born in Providence, RI, the daughter of the late Levi and Bertha Davis. Marion loved animals of all kinds including her cats, reading books, and playing bingo at the Lillian Smith Senior Center. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, talking on the phone with family and friends, collecting dolls, and taking rides on country roads. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dow Bradford Sr.; a son, Bradley Peter Bradford; and a daughter-in-law, Vera Bradford. She is survived by two sons, Jay and Donald Bradford; a daughter, Deborah Pressley and her husband Wallace E. Pressley Jr.; her sister, Thelma Goin; a brother, Gordon Davis; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. Services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday November 3 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
