Marian Cecelia Grabowski, of Clayton, DE, passed away at home on Friday November 14, 2025. She was 98.

She was born in Milton, DE on September 14, 1927 to the late Major W. Hickman and Bessie M. Hickman. Marian was employed by Daybreak Nursing Home for many years.

Marian enjoyed watching television, collecting stuffed animals, and jewelry.

She is survived by her children, Russell Grant (Nancy); Marian Boscher (Karl Sr.); Ruth Dinkins, and June Barlow; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and some great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her spouses, Russell Grant Jr. and Stephen Grabowski; a grandson, Paul Grant; and her siblings, Joseph Hickman, Dorothy Dean, and Calvin Hickman.

A visitation will be held11 AM – 12:30 PM Thursday November 20 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, with graveside services at 12:30 PM at Glenwood Cemetery, Smyrna.
