Obituary

Maria (Aria with the M) Antoinette Bergeron, from Clayton Delaware, daughter of the late Armand and Josephine Legere who was born February 24, 1935 in Berlin, New Hampshire died unexpectedly on August 29, 2018 at the age of 83 in Dover, DE.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Bergeron) Morris, (husband Stacy); her grandchildren, Deryk Joshua Bergeron-Anthony (wife, Danielle Pope), Eden Christine Mannon (husband Tony Mannon), Dustin Cody Bergeron (wife Heather) and Dakota Lee Bergeron; one great-grandchild, Aria (Maria without the M) Christine Mannon; her beloved sisters, Alice Roy, Irene Couture and Priscilla Vernon, which she enjoyed speaking to every night, all from New Hampshire.

She is predeceased by her brother Alfred Legere and his wife Doris.

She attended and graduated from Catholic Schools in that area. She was a homemaker for many years and enjoyed her career later in life as a health food store manager and Chiropractic Assistant at Feeney Chiropractic Care Centre where she kept everyone on their toes.

She was a member of Smyrna Wesleyan Church at the time of her death.

Maria lived for her family. She was a strong willed, loving individual who enjoyed roller skating, watching full contact sports like Roller Derby, ice hockey, football, WWE wrestling. She was a huge practical joker. She recently enjoyed bird watching and spent countless hours watching the "hummers".

A Celebration of Maria's Life will be held at Smyrna Wesleyan Church, 433 W Commerce St, Smyrna, DE 19977 on Monday, September 3 at 7 pm where all her friends are invited.

A special thank you to all who were a part of her life and those who made special memories for her: SoDel Roller Derby for a special day, Feeney Chiropractic Care Center, and the ones who heroically tried to help her the day she went to see Jesus.

Her favorite quote was "That's nice" and only the ones closest to her will understand.
