Obituary

Marcia Mae Sharp, of Camden, DE, passed away at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE on October 1, 2021. She was 77.

She was born in Rock Hall, MD on February 27, 1944, the daughter of the late Wilmer and Dorothy Jones

She attended Brown Vocational School and worked for many years as an Aide for First Student Transportation in Stanton before retiring. She had formerly lived in Mt. Cuba (Hockessin) and Middletown.

She enjoyed Macrame, crafting, tending to her many plants, & shopping QVC. She will be remembered by her saying "You know I never just buy ONE".

She is survived by a brother, Darl Jones (wife Nancy); and was cared for by her nieces Dee Carson & Renee Law and survived by many nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Sharp "Sharpie"; a sister, Ruth McCauley; and her dog Pebbles.

Thank you to Dottie Norris for caring for her and keeping her company. Also, a special thank you to Jaqueline (Miss Jaquie) of Joyce's Expression of Love in Townsend.

Graveside services will be 10 AM Tuesday October 12 at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.
