Lucille M. Allen, of Smyrna, passed away at her home on Saturday July 13, 2013 with her loving husband and family by her side. She was 78. She retired from Avon Products after 30 years of service. Lucille loved cleaning, shopping, NASCAR, the Phillies, crossword puzzles, and playing the slots in Atlantic City. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Windsor; and a grandson, Jimmy Dale Moye. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Levi Tharp; two daughters Carolyn Shinault and Lynda (Jim) McCollum; four grandchildren, Carol Ann Moye; David Moye; Larry Michael Sexton; and Johnny Lee Sexton; a great-grandchild, Cameron Sexton; her step-family, Jerri (Tom) Cadmus; Mark (Tonya) Tharp; Barbara (Brian) Schaffer, and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and siblings, Malcom (Angel) Windsor; Lee Windsor; June Poore; Paula (Stuart) Fitzgerald; Judy (Junior) Council; Alicia (Greg) Rose; and Lynwood (Cheryl) Windsor. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday July 18 at the Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720, where friends may call at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
