Lawrence (Larry) A. Anderson, 75, of Smyrna, Delaware passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

He was born in Dover, Delaware on May 5, 1947 to the late Joseph A. Anderson and Corene D. Anderson.

Larry graduated from John Bassett Moore High School, Smyrna in 1965 and played high school varsity baseball. He joined the Army Reserves after graduating high school. He was a supervisor for Continental Block Company in New Castle and later became a supervisor for site work and heavy highway construction until his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting and shooting pool in a league. He also coached little league baseball in Smyrna while his sons played on various teams. He was a member of the American Legion and Smyrna Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Corso Anderson; children, Eric S. Anderson, of Clayton; Brian L. Anderson (Dianna), of Smyrna; and Marc J. Anderson (Shelby), of Clayton; grandchildren, Hunter R. Anderson, and Jenna N. Parker (Zachary); a great-granddaughter, Savannah L. Parker; his mother-in-law, Catherine Corso; brothers-in-law, Frank Fleetwood, Stephen Corso, Mark Corso; sisters-in-law Teresa Fleetwood, Joanne Corso and Vicki Corso; six nieces and two nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph A. Anderson Jr.

Services will be private. Interment will be in Delaware City Cemetery, Delaware City.
