Kent was born March 15, 1978, in Woodbury New Jersey to Robert and Sherry Montgomery (Tweed). Kent was a high school graduate of Central Christian school in 1996 and then immediately joined the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany as a combat engineer. Kent was employed with Walmart distribution center #7034 for over 20 years, where he most recently worked as a maintenance technician and enjoyed working with a group of men; Justin Dittman, Dan Eichelberger, Mike Brown, Rob Coxe, and Sean Mullins, who turned out to be like family to him during his cancer battle. Kent was a simple man who most often enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. Kent was not a man of a lot of words rather he showed his love in other ways such as the way he provided for his family, even in his death, his main concern was for the family he would be leaving behind and their welfare. Kent enjoyed playing any sort of video games system, rock music and anything to do with guns, even in his final days, he was still looking forward to target shooting with his friends one last time.
