Kenneth Jay "Kenny" Polite, Sr., 58, of Dover, DE, passed away on Monday Sept. 23, 2019 at Keystone Hospice, Wyndmoor, PA.

He was born in Lewes, DE on May 2, 1961, son of the late Richard L. and the late Judith E. Polite.

Kenny was a professional painter by trade, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the beach. He loved to laugh and listen to music.

He is survived by his children; Devon Crampton, Ken Polite Jr, & Stacie Polite; loving step-mother Jo Polite; two sisters, Lynn Cunningham, and Sharon Polite; a brother, Richard Polite; aunt, Lilly Kennedy; uncle Jay Polite; aunt, Betty Wendell; cousin, Cheryl Rivera; and niece, Shannon Schwamberger.

Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday October 4, 2019 at Hickory Grove Cemetery, 428 Port Penn Rd, Middletown, DE 19709. Pastor Nancy Wheeler will officiate.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Stephanie Bey, PA-C of Gastroenterology Associates for being his number one advocate and providing the utmost compassion & care; Dr. Victor Navarro & the entire Einstein Hospital team for their exceptional care; and Keystone Hospice for their dedication and compassion during this difficult time.
