John M. Barlow, of Smyrna, passed away on Friday May 25, 2012 at Christiana Hospital, Newark. He was 58. He was born in Wilmington on April 20, 1954. He was a mechanic at Miller Road Discount Transmissions. John loved fishing, camping, flea markets and yard sales, bingo, arcades and amusements. His family was the most important thing to him. He was preceded in death by his mother Harriett and his sister Linda. He is survived by his wife Shannon; children, Dawn Moulton; James Barlow; Dustie Barlow; Tiffinie Osborne; and step-daughter Kristi Daniels. He had 13 grandchildren: Katelyn, Mary, Billy, Victoria, Jesse, Jason, Helen Rose, Kimberly, Cletus, Brandy, Jonathan, Sebestian and Destiny; one great grandchild; and a brother, Dave Barlow. Memorial Services will be held 7:00 PM Friday June 1 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 6:00PM. Interment will be private.
