John Evan Alderson, known by his family as "John-John", of Bear, Delaware passed away on June 21, 2018. He was 27.

He was born October 26, 1990 and raised in Middletown, Delaware. His parents are John Alderson & Barbara Daniels; and his siblings are Ian Moreno and Erica Elder. He graduated from Middletown High School and later studied at the Philadelphia Aviation Institute of Maintenance while also working various fast-paced warehouse jobs. He loved the outdoors; fishing, hiking, stargazing at night and bird watching during the day. He was a fan of woodworking and was talented in almost any hobby he pursued. He enjoyed fishing with his father, but most of all flying RC planes with his Poppy which made him happiest when passing the time. John was an old soul who truly appreciated the simple things in life and always loved telling stories and making everyone smile. His heart was enormous and he was always there for anyone who ever needed help or an ear to patiently listen.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Daniels; father, John Alderson; Nana, Ethel Alderson; Poppy, Jack Alderson; grandmother, Barbara Harkins; big brother, Ian Moreno; sister-in-law, Lauren Moreno; big "sis", Erica Elder; brother-in-law, James Elder; sweet nieces, Adelaide Elder, Winter Elder, and Savannah Moreno.

He will be terribly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday June 30 at Faith Baptist Church, 1575 Bryn Zion Rd. (corner of Rt. 300 and Bryn Zion Rd.), Smyrna  DE.
