Jane A. (Alexander) Clark, 79, of Smyrna, DE, passed peacefully at home on Thursday Dec 17,2024.

She was born in Smyrna on May 12, 1945, the daughter of the late Edward and Virgie Alexander. Jane was raised in Smyrna, and attended Smyrna schools. She worked as an insurance adjuster. After being out in the field for many years, she opened her own insurance adjuster business in her home. Jane enjoyed going to car shows and she loved hanging out with her car show family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle L. Richards of Camden-Wyoming, DE; her husband of 46 years, Peter; and let's not forget her friend Andy "Handy Andy" who was the light of her life. She was also preceded by her sisters and brothers Susie, Elizabeth (Betty), Brandy, Jim and Ralph.

Jane is survived by her daughters Daphne Hahn of Smyrna, DE, Susan (Clark) Hartnett of Smyrna, DE, and Shawn Clark of Georgia; her grandchildren, Kenneth Po, Brittney Richards, and Brianna Hartnett of Delaware; her sisters and brothers, Laura of Clayton, Margaret (Peg) of Smyrna, Lee of Smyrna, Norman and Rayann of Clayton and a sister-in-law Thelma of Clayton.

Thank you to Aunt Peg for being there to help in so many ways and also a special thanks to Delaware Hospice.

Services and interment will be private.
