James Samuel Sinex (Jimmy), 66, of Smyrna, DE, passed away on Sunday January 21, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Elkton, MD on May 16, 1957, the son of the late James and Betty Ann Sinex (Coverdale).

As a child, he enjoyed hunting with his father and watching dirt track races in Delmar. Jimmy graduated from Delcastle High School. He enjoyed Nascar, crabbing, and liked the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jimmy liked to always wear flip-flops and drink his sweet tea with fresh squeezed lemon. He was very involved with his family's pool business, Sinex Pools, and enjoyed taking his son on pool calls. He also enjoyed trips to Daytona Racetrack and Walt Disney World. Jimmy and Becky enjoyed cooking out on the grill in the summer, and they enjoyed hosting dinner for their family. Jimmy was a Godly man who enjoyed Sunday Services.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Sinex, Smyrna DE; children, Jake, Jordan, and Jaclyn Sinex; a host of grandchildren; a sister, Beth Ann Sinex, and two cats.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Samuel and Blanche Coverdale.

A memorial will be held at a later date. "It's not goodbye, it's see you later."
