Helen Allabaugh, passed peacefully at her home in Clayton, DE on Friday March 28, 2025, surrounded by family and her furry friend Bella.

Helen was born on July 7, 1946, in Merchantville, NJ. She lived in Florida, New Jersey, and Delaware throughout her time. Some of her favorite things to do were camping, dancing at Sweetwater, NJ, and just being outside and near water. Helen also loved hummingbirds. She was a hard-working woman who drove for Trailways and Greggs Bus Service for several years. She dedicated her life to her late husband John Allabaugh and her late brother Donald J. Hillman.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia and her spouse David Potter; grandchildren, Dana Haney II and Jaclynn Potter; best friend MaryAnn Ferrn; and her dog Bella.

We want to thank our wonderful nurses at Delaware Hospice. Thank you to our friends and family for all of your love and support during this difficult time.

Services will be privately held.
