Gregory E Diven "Greg"

July 25, 1971 – December 25, 2022

Gregory Eugene Diven, 51 of Smyrna Delaware, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, after a long illness.

Greg was born on July 25, 1971, to Tomi Diven and Sylvester Diven in Misawa, Japan.  He attended Caesar Rodney High School.  He started his automotive career at Dover Volkswagen, Price Honda then moved on to Avenue Imparts for almost 25 years.

In 1995, he met his wife Catherine Ksenich Diven "Cathy". Greg and Cathy went on to have 3 daughters, Megan Tull, Haley Dumire, and Emily Diven.

He enjoyed spending time riding his Harley, listening to music, playing his guitars, and spending time with his family.

Greg was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Umanoke and Fujel Taneichi of Japan, paternal grandparents, Blair and Izora Diven for Mechanicsburg, Pa.

He is survived by his children, Megan (Ryan) Tull of Greenwood, De., Haley (Blaine) Dumire of Wilmington, DE, and Emily Diven of Smyrna, two grandsons, Cannon Fabi and Layne Tull, and parents, Sylvester Diven of York Pa., and Tomi Whisler of Dover, De.  Brother and sister-in-law James and Theresa Diven, niece Elizabeth Diven of Milford, De., and brother-in-law Pete and Christine Ksenich of Clearwater, Florida.

Celebration of Life will be held on January 14, 2023, at the Leipsic Fire Hall in Leipsic Delaware from 1:00pm to 3:00pm., everyone is welcome.
