Gary Robert Paulish passed away suddenly on October 23, 2018. He was 36 years old and resided in New Castle, DE. Gary was born on February 1, 1982 to Mary (Forbes) Paulish and Gary Paulish at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware. Gary was raised in Smyrna, DE for most of his life and attended A.I. DuPont High School in Wilmington, DE while being cared for by Paul L. Parets, of Delaware City. Gary later attended the University of Delaware for three years where he studied Computer Science.

Gary was filled with ambition, and had a zest for life and a determination to succeed. His very personality was overflowing with a desire to please and be pleased. Gary played football for A. I. DuPont High School and became a State-ranked wrestler. Every semester he was on the academic honor roll and at graduation earned an MBNA full-ride scholarship to the University of Delaware.

Gary had an amazing work ethic. From an early age, he was determined to be a successful entrepreneur. Gary began his career as an intern at MBNA. His passion and career were computers. Gary Co- founded 2 companies, DSi Technologies Inc. (2007 – 2009), and Qnectus (2009 – 2014) where he held the title of CTO. Gary recently worked as an Azure Solutions Architect from 2014 – 2018. In addition to his passion for technology, Gary enjoyed mountain biking, hiking in White Clay State Park, fishing and spending time at the beach.

Gary Robert Paulish is survived by his parents Mary (Forbes) Paulish, Gary Paulish and his foster father Paul L. Parets. He is also survived by his Fiancé Leanne Redmon of New Castle, DE, his brother Michael Paulish of Florida, his sister Michelle Paulish of Dover, DE, Grandfather David Paulish and wife Barbara of Millsboro, DE, Uncle David A. Paulish and wife Cathy of Rehoboth, DE, his Uncle Bruce Paulish with wife Selina and cousin Sara of Dover, DE, his Goddaughter Corin Elise, his Loving Golden Retriever Colt as well as other family members, many friends and colleagues.

Gary is predeceased by is grandmother, Barbara Paulish-Wilson of Smyrna, DE and Uncle Mark Paulish of Aurora, Colorado.

Gary was loved and will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

A visitation will be held 1-3:00 PM Saturday November 17 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna. Interment will be private.
