Frank M. Tull, age 55, of Smyrna, DE, passed away peacefully at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia on Monday, January 14, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank was born in Wilmington, DE the son of the late Paul and Edith Tull. He is predeceased by his brother John and his mother in law, Hedwig Hayes. For 22 years Frank was employed at Bayshore Ford in New Castle and considered all the employees there his family. He always had a smile on his face, a kind word or a "how are you" for everyone. Besides spending time with his family and trips to the beach, Frank enjoyed watching sports, attending NASCAR races in Dover, betting on horse races, bowling and playing the lottery. Frank is survived by his wife and love of his life Barbara and his daughter Rebecca, (Zach) the light in his eyes. He is also survived by his brother Paul and his wife Sandy of Wilmington. Also surviving Frank is his Aunt Madeline DuPhily, his father-in-law, Charles Hayes, Sr., brother-in-law Chuck Hayes and his wife Lynn and nieces and nephews, Amanda, Christopher, John, Jr., Katie and Michael. A special thank you from the family to the doctors and nursing staff at Fox Chase Cancer Center and especially Dr. Igor Astsaturov and Dr. Tingting Tan for their continued support throughout Frank's illness. A visitation for friends and family will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 from 7 - 9 PM at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, DE with a memorial service to be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna, DE.
