Frances "Fran or Frannie" Elizabeth Jones was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world to be with the Lord and join the love of her life on November 24, 2024, at age 66.

Fran was born August 20th, 1958, to Mary and Carroll Jones Sr., born fourth of her five siblings. She was the epitome of a hard worker and worked various jobs over her lifetime. She joyfully retired from the State of Delaware in 2020. Fran met the love of her life, Ronnie, at 14 years old. They spent twenty-nine glorious years at each other's side before Ronnie left the earth too soon. Fran exhibited the true qualities of a survivor, battling many various health issues starting as a young adult and continuing throughout her lifetime.

Fran loved crafting, especially painting ceramics (her most beloved, a Santa that still sits under her family's Christmas tree). She enjoyed decorating cakes for birthdays and seeing the excitement in her family's faces. She collected a vast number of porcelain dolls that were her "babies." Fran adored the outdoors and watching wildlife. In her retirement, she loved camping with her family, being a devoted grandmother and taking her dogs on car rides.

Fran is survived by her daughters Valerie Jones and Amanda Wilson (Jacob); grandchildren: Annalise Stilwell, Jessalyn Stilwell, Joshua Stilwell, Brandon Stilwell, and Ryan Wilson; brothers: Carroll Jones Jr. and Jack Jones; several nieces and nephews and her two dogs, Luca and Ivy.

Fran is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jones; her parents, Mary (Randow) and Carroll Jones Sr; sisters: Victoria Swire (Jones) and Deborah McKinney (Jones).

Please join us in celebrating her life on Sunday December 1 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna. A visitation will begin at 1 PM with memorial services at 2 PM. Interment will be private.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Frances Elizabeth Jones to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380, a cause near and dear to Fran's heart.
