Elizabeth Pigueron Jones passed away peacefully on October 20, 2022, in Dover, Delaware. She was 80 years old.  Born in Salisbury, Maryland in August 1942, she grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, attained her college degree from Taylor University, and began a career as a social worker. She was the third of four children to George Henry Pigueron and Margaret Heck Pigueron.

She enjoyed traveling and performing in a gospel trio, summering in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, and handcrafting quilts and needlepoint projects.

Elizabeth is survived by her three children, Christopher, Dana, and Benjamin, as well as by her younger brother, William Pigueron. She is preceded in death by her parents, her older brother George Pigueron, Jr., and her older sister, Margaret McMillan.

Interment will be private.
