Dorothy W. Ragolia, of Smyrna, and Stuart, FL, passed away on Wednesday January 18, 2012. She was 91. She was born in Aiken, SC, and was a 1942 graduate of Winthrop College, SC. Mrs. Ragolia was a military wife and mother during her husband's thirty year military career as a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. She was a member of St. Polycarp Parish, Smyrna, since 1971. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Colonel (Ret.) Joseph H. Ragolia; four sons, Mike, of Longs, SC; Thomas G. (Yolanda), of Sedalia, CO; Joseph M. (Kathy), of Harbeson, DE; and David C. (Tammy), of Bear, DE; a brother, Bob Warner, of Eisto, Island, SC; a sister, Betty Blatchley, of Seaford, DE; and eight grandchildren, Erica B. Sayers; Nathan J. Ragolia; Josie Ragolia; Jessica Ragolia; Jaclyn Ragolia; Sylvia Wilson; David Ragolia; and Devon Ragolia. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 1:00 PM Tuesday January 24 at St. Polycarp Parish, Ransom Lane and South St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 12:00 PM in the parish hall. Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday January 26 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE.
