Dorothy Jean Healy (Dotty), 82 of Dover, DE, formerly of Huntingtown, MD, and Wellsburg, WV, died peacefully on March 24, 2026.

Dotty was born on June 4, 1943, a daughter to the late Everette C. Burnside and Mae Marie Fulton Burnside from Wellsburg, WV.  In addition to her parents, Dotty was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Healy Jr., and her siblings: Francis, Irvin, Frank, Leo, and Ronald Burnside, and sisters Juanita Buchanan, and Thelma Williams.

She is survived by her sister, Lillian Fambach, and several nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Wellsburg High School, and continued her education at the University of MD, College Park.  Dotty retired from Harkins Builders of MD, where she was a project accountant. She was a member of First Christian Church, Wellsburg, WV.

Dotty was a woman full of life, with a witty sense of humor.  She had a caring nature and enjoyed many years soaking up the sun in her pool, or being at the beach.

Adhering to Dotty's wishes, there will not be any traditional services. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Delaware Hospice, 630 Churchmans Road, Suite 200, Newark, DE 19702.
