Dorothy A. Gwin's Obituary
Dorothy A. Gwin, of Smyrna, died on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Capitol Healthcare, Dover. She was 94.
She was born in Deerfield, VA, and graduated from Churchville (VA) High School in 1940. She had formerly been employed by the FBI as a fingerprint technician while her husband was in aviation school.
Mrs. Gwin was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, Smyrna.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Earl W. Gwin.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela McCloskey, of Wilmington, and Gina Sheets, of Clayton; two grandsons, James Bender, and Joshua Sheets; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be privately held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church, 118 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, DE 19977; or to the American Legion Ambulance Fund, 900 Smyrna- Clayton Blvd, Smyrna, DE 19977.
