Dorothy O. "Dot" Angell, 82, of Smyrna, passed away March 24, 2021 at Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover.

She was born in Noel, Missouri, on October 22, 1938, the daughter of the late Martha J. Grace Cantrell and Elijah Cantrell.

She was an avid doll collector and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Emily going anywhere to look for dolls. Every Thursday she went to her friend Eileen's house for lunch and a doll club meeting along with her friend Rose. Dot was loved and adored by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children Chip Angell, Dana Brown and her fiancée Frank Ford, and John Angell; grandchildren Emily Ford, and Clara, Claudia and Gwen Angell; sisters, Martha Henson, Betty Epperson and Maryann Adams

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Claude Angell; and her brothers, Charlie and Andrew Cantrell.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Bayhealth for taking such good care of her.

Services will be 12 PM Wednesday March 31 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 11 AM. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
