Donald C. Smith, 61, of Smyrna, passed away suddenly March 19, 2012. He was born in Phila., Pa and was the son of the late Van & Genevieve Smith. He served his country proudly in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He is survived by his daughter Sharon N. Cox, his son in law Timothy Cox, his grandson Tanner Cox and his devoted companion of 35 years Denise Shea. Memorial Services will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday April 3 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna.
