Donald V. Ebright Sr., of Princess Anne, MD, formerly of Smyrna, passed away on Saturday April 9, 2016 at PRMC, Salisbury, MD. He was 79.

He was born in Smyrna, the son of the late Maddux and Florence Ebright.

He retired after many years with Acme Markets. Mr. Ebright was a life member of Citizen's Hose Co., Smyrna, and had formerly served as a Lieutenant and Fire Recorder. He also was a lifetime instructor with the Delaware State Fire School.

He was a model train enthusiast and enjoyed camping.

He was preceded in death by his step-brother, Logan "Buster" Ebright.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Ebright; a son, Donnie (Valerie) Ebright; two daughters, Flo (Carl) Harvey, and Tina Kopec; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a companion, Ellen Robinson.

Funeral services with firefighter honors will be 11:00 AM Friday April 15 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 10:00 AM.

Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Smyrna.
