Diana L. Pearce

Went home Thursday, July 2, 2020. Ms. Pearce was born in Wilmington, DE on January 18, 1946 to the late Ruth Ann Anthony and William Cumby. She was raised by her grandparents Martha and George Anthony. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Elaine Jennings and aunt Pauline Clark. Diana was a homemaker and lived in New Castle until 1987 when she relocated to Smyrna. She was a caretaker for her aunt Pauline and she enjoyed holidays and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Boyce, sons James Carroll Jr., Elwood Pearce and Larry Pearce, her sisters Lorraine and Nancy, granddaughters Diana Walston and husband Thomas, Teena Toscano and husband George, and Crystle Guyer, grandson Craig Simmons Jr. and his wife Tori, great granddaughters Lili, Ambria and Briella, and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.

A special thanks to Pastor Eddie Scott and to Vitas hospice.

Interment will be held at Hollywood Cemetery in Harrington, DE on Thursday, July 9th at 12:00 p.m.
