David T. Henry, of Smyrna, died on Monday April 16, 2012 at Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 52. David was born February 18, 1960 in Wilmington, DE to Grace W. Henry and Frank D. Henry Jr. David enjoyed participating in sports, especially horseshoes. According to David T., as he was commonly called, he was the best horseshoe player in Smyrna. He also served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his sister, Glenda Ford, and his brother, Derek C. Henry. David T. leaves behind to celebrate his life, his mother, Grace W. Henry, of Smyrna; his father, Frank D. Henry Jr., of Townsend; six brothers, Frank III and wife Vina, Roger, Duncan, Dwayne, Daniel, and Don; two sisters, Joyce B. Henry and Diana Henry; three special friends, Sandy White, and Zaire and Shelia Hackett; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other friends and family members. Home Going Services will be held 12:00 PM Friday April 20 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
