Darren Dwight Deaver, 59 years old of Smyrna, DE went to be with our Lord on July 17th, 2024.

Darren was a hardworking man and worked in construction his entire life.

Darren was a great dog lover, of heart and soul with several different breeds throughout his life.

Darrens heart was with his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time and giving gifts to them. He Loved all children including his nieces and nephews. As an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan Darren never missed a game and surrounded himself with family and friends to watch these games. He was proud to have an extensive collection of Eagles memorabilia throughout his years.

Darren loved life. He was a loving Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend.  He was an enthusiastic giver of his time and talents to anyone that was in need. Darren is survived by his children Danielle, D.J., Kyle and several grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be held Sunday August 11th 2:00-5:00p.m. at the Blackbird Community Center, 120 Blackbird Forest Rd, Townsend, DE 19734.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made for the care of Darren's grandchildren. Please make checks payable to Thelma Klase (sister) and mail to Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, DE 19977. *Donations can also be made at Darren's Celebration of Life*
