Catherine M. (Connelly) Corso, 96, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at Westminster Village Health Center, Dover. Prior to residing at Westminster, she lived on Rodney Street, Clayton, DE.

She was born in Paulsboro, NJ on May 11, 1927, the daughter of the late William and Evelyn Connelly.

She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino and attended St. Polycarp Church in Smyrna.

She is survived by her children, Janet Corso Anderson, Smyrna, Stephen Corso (Joanne), Clayton, Mark Corso (Vicki), Smyrna, Teresa Corso Fleetwood (Frank), Smyrna; grandchildren, Eric Anderson, Kristy Corso Hall (Matthew), Brian Anderson (Dianna), Marc Anderson (Shelby), Lisa Corso, Katie Corso Bryden (Glenn), Jade Fleetwood, Brent Fleetwood and Robyn Corso; great-grandchildren, Hunter Anderson, Jenna Anderson Parker (Zachary), Joshua Hall and Morgan Hall; a great-great-granddaughter, Savannah Parker; a brother, Franklin Connelly (Margaret); and 11 nieces and 5 nephews.

She was predeceased by her spouse, Stephen T. Corso; a son-in-law, Larry A. Anderson; and her siblings, William Connelly, Helen Connelly Rivell, Evelyn Connelly Dibona, and Delores Connelly Cranmer.

A visitation will be held 9:30 – 10:30 AM Friday July 21 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM Friday at St. Polycarp Catholic Church, 55 Ransom Lane, Smyrna. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Polycarp Church, 55 Ransom Lane, Smyrna, DE 19977.
