Carol Sue Foster, 79, of Woodland Beach, Delaware, passed away on August 3, 2024, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE.

She was born August 10, 1944, in Johnstown, PA to the late Eugene and Erma Hess. She was a high school graduate and had formerly lived in Wilmington before moving to the Smyrna area many years ago. She had been employed by Bid Master and Lanchester Sheds, of Smyrna.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, plants, arts and crafts and sewing.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca Fell and Barry, Charles Foster and Chrissy, and a daughter-in-law, Pamela Foster; grandchildren William Hess and Meghan Sears, Tyler Foster and Jill, Jacob Foster, Richie Foster, Mason Foster, Christian Grawl, and Trent Foster; a great-granddaughter, Chloe Foster; siblings, Gail Hoerner and Jeff, and Lisa Mcquown; so many lovely nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her friend, Nancy Fullerton.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Foster; a son, Richard Foster; a grandson, Michael Sethman; and her brothers, Kenneth Hess and Eugene Hess.

Services will be private.
